VHP All India secretary Prof Venkatesh Abdeo issued a statement in regards to the recent Pune terror attack.

Post 26/11 Mumbai attacks, P. Chidambaram had issued message stating that 'If terrorists and militants from Pakistan try to carry out any attack in India, they will not only be defeated but will be retaliated very strongly' Right now all indications denote involvement of Headley or his syndicate. Time has come for Chidambaram to put his words into action and retaliate against Pakistan.

All the people associated with Headley should be arrested even if they are from entertainment industry. Accordingly the local terrorist modules have to be dismantled, unless the roots of terrorism are defeated, terror attacks will continue to occur. Peace talks and appeasement policies are not the way to tackle terrorism.
