Haridwar, Jan 15 (PTI) For several foreigners at the Kumbh, the congregation is all about seeking salvation and knowing more about Hinduism besides an opportunity to see the Naga sadhus and other mystics.

"This gathering is not only limited to Hindus but is open for others too. Many believe that people can get 'moksha' (salvation) by taking the bath. I don't have any opinion about that yet. But I have seen many person believing in that and I have come to see it myself," said Reetu Suryananda from Portuguese Yoga Confederation.

Reetu, a Portuguese who has kept an Indian name, has come along with her master and the confederation's president Jagat Guru Amrita Suryananda.

Indonesian Yoman Danitri, who took a holy dip during the solar eclipse, said she is here because of divine calling.

"This is a special event which comes once every 12 years.
