Hang Kasab & Afzal Guru Together Immediately Demands Dr. Pravin Togadia

New Delhi, May 6, 2010

Welcoming the verdict of death punishment by hanging to Mumbai Jihadi attack culprit Azmal Aamir Kasab, Dr Pravin Togadia, VHP International Secretary General Secretary said, “This is a welcome 1st step towards bringing Bharat’s culprits to proper justice. Now it is high time that giving a Jihadi Pakistani Kasab any further opportunity to appeal or mercy should not be even remotely considered. These are the human rights of Indian citizens & Pakistani Jihadis like Kasab must not get these rights. So also, Afzal Guru has been playing with Indian democracy for long now. Mercy to such people is an insult to Indian democracy. Therefore both Kasab & Afzal Guru must be hanged together & that too IMMEDIATELY. Otherwise Kasab’s bosses in Pakistan may even manipulate the vote bank politics in Bharat & may even try to hold Bharat at ransom once again.”

Dr Togadia further added, “Now that Pakistan’s hand in Jihadi attacks on India & in India has been fully exposed, Indian Government should immediately cut all diplomatic & business ties with Pakistan & attack Pakistan without bending before international pressure. The Honourable court itself has said in Kasab verdict that hanging Kasab can prevent incidents like Kandhar hi-jacking. If Indian Government respects Indian judiciary then they will hang Kasab & Afzal Guru together rather than playing usual vote bank politics to appease minorities & persecute & prosecute Hindus even at the cost of Bharat’s safety.”

Dr Togadia also demanded, “The Honourable Court has also pronounced Pakistani Hafeez Sayeed, Lakhvi & other 18 Pakistani Jihadis guilty. Therefore Indian Government should do everything possible to bring them to Bharat & get them hanged in Bharat.”

Afzal Guru is not directly involved in the parliament attack incident and there is still no concrete evidence to prove his involvement. In such a circumstance if he is hanged, through out the country muslim sentiments will run high and there will be widespread communal violence as J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdulla has rightly said. The congress will obviously lose its popularity among the muslims. If there is communal violence in Kashmir and elsewhere in India it will have its repercussions in Gulf countries where hindus like me have come to earn a living.By trying to create communal violence in India you will be also trying to risk the welfare and security of lakhs of hindu expatriates working in Gulf countries. So it is better for the president not to reject the mercy petition of Afzal realizing the far reaching consequences of rejecting it.

Thanks
